Maddie 7.7.09

Maddie got fixed yesterday! She came home this morning and acts 100%. Everyone at the vet's office said she was the sweetest little (big) thing. She is 43 lbs so far. The vet swears she is part lab due to her webbed feet and spotted tongue, but who knows!
Hopefully there won't be any complications with the surgery. So far so good!

  4. Mr. PM puts up with a lot he didn't sign up for - he should get a regular sized cheer. ;-)

  5. Maddie maybe bigger than Schroeder.

  6. I think she probably is. She was the biggest at birth and the whole time I had them, we came in first or second in size. She has a stockier build than Schroeder too so even if she isn't dimensionally bigger, I'd bet she looks heavier. But I haven't seen her in person. I was noting in the picture of Schroeder and Cheetah that his paws are gigantic! I really wonder who the daddy (or daddies) was and how big they will all end up. Seems like bigger than my initial projections maybe.

  7. He does have giant paws, everybody comments on the size. I keep flirting with the idea of one of those genetic testing kits, but I don't know how good they are.

  8. I don't really know if they are any good. But I would sure be interested in the results if you did it.

  9. okay, MR PM gets a full cheer, cuz he is a super duper guy. Interesting that the vet thinks Maddie might have lab in her...with webbed feet...maybe it was BIG BIRD! lol.

  10. Hi Mel,
I want you to know I am reading your blog, just haven't left any comments. Love the stories about the bird and how your two doggies are growing up and learning to cope with their surroundings. Both being such GOOD DOGGIES on the 4th of July! You must be so proud of Miss Cheetah. She has come such a long way since under your care and supervision. You are a credit to dog whisperers everywhere!
